Office Coordinator
Working in dental for 30 years, Stacey shares an inspiring journey in regards to her passion about dental — “I answered an ad in the newspaper in 1989:
Dental Assistant WANTED, willing to train the right person.
I don’t know if I was the “right” person, but train me they did, with integrity! He was the best dentist in town and not many could endure his standards. Fast forward 30 years. I hope in some way to train and empower ambassadors.
It is my goal to elevate the value of dental health and empower all we come in touch with. I love health care and I love people. Dental has been a great way to be of service. Doing what I love with this group of professionals is full circle for me.”
Joy
Dental Hygienist
A lover of pets and the Lord, Joy is loved by her co-workers. Joy has been working in dentistry for 39 years – and with Dr. Evans for 21 years.
Joy is licensed to administer anesthesia, one of sixteen within the state of Alabama.
When Joy is asked about what she loves about Shoal Creek Dental, she responds with, “Dr. Evans stays current. He keeps his office current, she has seen how much this team has evolved over the years. He is always wanting to continue education.”
Is dental anxiety something that you deal with? Joy is your girl! She specializes in patients that have dental anxiety.
Brenda
Registered Dental Assistant and Hygienist
Brenda began her dental career 13 years ago in Tennessee. Looking to grow and challenge herself, she found herself in our office. Brenda supports all aspects of the office and patient care. She attended and graduated UAB DENTAL hygiene program. However has continued to serve Dr. Evans as as assistant for over ten years.
Outside the office you will find her and her beautiful family on the ball field or on the lake playing & fishing.
Whitney
Insurance Specialist
With 6.5 years in dental – she is part of our Insurance and Billing department. Whitney is an advocate for our patients, with a watchful eye for their interests. She is someone who you can consider family -We do!
Amber
Assistant
After graduating from Brooks , Amber worked in customer service in the insurance field before our lucky day she came to SCD. For the last 2 years she has eased fears and problem solved for our patients. Helping them set and accomplish dental goals. Recently she has begun training to assist to broaden her understanding.
She is a dedicated wife and mother of two. She is truly an advocate.
